Transport across Europe

Blankers Transport BV specialises in the transport of goods to any destination in Europe. An important part of our activities is carried out for regular clients. Over the years we have built a close partnership with most of these companies, mainly because we know what our clients want.

As a result, in addition to general transport, we have also developed specialist solutions, in particular for compressing and double loading. We would like to invite you to discover the advantages our approach can offer your company. This of course also applies to "regular" transport within Europe.

All domestic transport is carried out under the AVC conditions for road transport, and all international transport under the CMR conditions.

Punctual execution is our first priority in every assignment. Thanks to the route tracking system on board all our trucks, we can inform clients at any time about the location of their shipment. Moreover, our staff at the home base speak the most common European languages, so clear communication is always ensured.

More cargo by compressing

The fleet is equipped with double and triple loading floors with a hydraulic lifting mechanism. Thanks to the powerful hydraulic system, some products, such as mattresses, foam rubber and the like, can be compressed while the floor is raised, creating even more space. This makes optimal use of the volume of the loading space.

Relatively light cargo with a large volume is placed on the upper loading floor. This floor is then raised to about half the height of the loading space and secured, after which the lower loading floor can be filled with goods.

A big advantage is that these trucks have space for 76 euro pallets or 60 block pallets, or even 114 euro pallets or 90 block pallets in three layers, while regular trucks of comparable size carry 33 euro pallets or 26 block pallets. This results in considerable savings. Not only are fewer trips needed, but thanks to the more compact loads you also have considerably lower costs, less fuel, and lower toll and ferry charges. Naturally, the advantage increases with the distance to be covered.
